High school sprinting sensation Steve Mullings is now on the rise after a two year drug ban.
the former Vere Technical high school student recently posted a 10.11 run in his preparation for the world championship in Osaka latter this year, Mullings who fell into some misfortune at our very onw national senior championship at the end of june at the national stadium was made to run from lane 8 after posting semi-final run second to the world's fastest man Asafa Powell was at the last minute injected in the final and made to run from lane. There are those who think lane doesn't matter in a race like the 1oo meter but for those who have experience in the sport know it does, this is not to discredit Clemet Campbel and Nester Carter but had Steve Mullings been running from a different lane probably an inside lane colser to the center of the competiton the results could have maybe been different.
